Details:
In daytime we had beautiful weather and amazing red and yellow colours in nature. For the evening/night the aurora predictions were very promising, however, the clouds came marching in.....
Anyway, around 10 PM the first faint auroras appeared together with a bright moon playing hide and seek with the clouds.
About one hour and than the clouds closed the sky.
Around midnight the sky broke open and a marvelous corona was built up with a top as seen on the first photo. Amazing shapes and figures. I think this aurora bird is a beauty!
