Details:
It was a beautiful crisp autumn evening on Sunday night, for watching the twilight show of the waxing Moon setting in the southwest, accompanied by Saturn (to the right) and the pairing of Mars and his rival red star, Antares, to the left. I shot this image as part of a time-lapse sequence, from the Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park, overlooking the Bow River in southern Alberta. This was with a 50mm Sigma lens and Canon 6D camera from 15 seconds at f/4 and ISO 400.
