Details:
This super giant Sunspot is a true naked eye region. But as big as it sounds this giant is dormant at the moment. No flaring activity can be seen erupting out of this giant yet. Calcium k shows some of this sunspot magnetic froth but nothing impressive as seen on other super sunspots in the pass. Perhaps the most fantastic feature on this Sunspot is its enormous size.

Thanks Bill I had poor turbulent skies today. But I didnt want to miss the chance of imaging this large sunspot.

Hi Sergio;

Please see my post of Aug 9 - about 15 posts back of this one. I did try and, will continue using SharpCap 2.6 - it seems quite good.
