Light pillars were visible in the sky, then more images appeared above. In the Taivaanvahti -site ( people gave hints to look if the pattern matches to local map. And there it was! Exact reversed light map of Kauttua, Eura on the sky. Now I call it #LuxEura.

Incredible ! One could also see that the map in the sky is more updated (real time) than the road map.

I have never seen light pillars reaching up to Zenith before!
What a fantastic observation and very sharp eyed of you to have identified it s an upside-down projection of the city map.

Thank you all Taivaanvahti/Ursa people!
Tero Sipinen/Taivaanvahti was the first to give explanation for this in the page.

After taking the picture I quickly got some kinda map so I could compare them. So there is some slight differences.

And now Im astonished with all the interest that this has got.

And by the way, this was my first time ever to announce a sighting! ;)

Splendid! Very wonderful!
And can somebody calculate how high the sky map appeared?

Great catch, as a photo, as well as brain-wise! (It would be a good picture even without the map)

addendum: I should have added that the level of detail shown by little side-streets is especially interesting. Be sure to click through to the enlarged version ;)
