I thought I witnessed my first first naked eye a few minutes earlier so I ran and got my camera. I thought that the thunderstorm to the left was the originator of the sprite. However, another thunderstorm complex about 200 miles to my southeast was the generator of this cluster of sprites.

This sprite cluster (at right) was the last of the night. As noted in the image, city lights over eastern Cheyenne impacted my view but I was still able to record these elusive phenomena.

The first image was taken at 8:52PM MDT, the second 9 minutes later.
