Details:
Our chase started at 18:30h. while faint auroras were seen already at 17:00h. Soon the sky filled up with beautiful green shapes. It was supposed to be the beginning of an unforgatable chase, that ended for me at about 03:00 AM!
Temperature was again around -35C, but with a soft breeze feeling like double deep freezer level :-) We survived with hot drinks, cake and grilling sausages over the bonfire. And, very important, could smile because of the beautiful experience of watching northern lights In the Middle of Nowhere.
We came back at our base at about 00:30AM and what than happened....... you can see and read in the next posting.....
