First Night Panorama of the 2017 Aurora Expedition in Alaska, St. Patricks Day and lit up the Sky Green for us! -32F and slight wind, cut right through us Last Night! @#%^& Brutal!!! Cable releases wire freezing rigidly...batteries draining down quickly...so glad I have many spares!
We were Prepping our observing site & waiting for our new 2017 Aurora Hunters to arrive in a few days for our workshop, we got a nice 4 to 5 hour display last night...here is a nice one with red in it, I captured with a Canon 6D & 14mm F2.8 lens. 15 second exposure.
Best Regards,
John Chumack
