Images captured from the foothills South of the Brooks Range in Alaska (North of the Arctic Circle) early on April 4th during a rather unexpected geomagnetic storm - enabled by a long period of south pointing BZ component. -- Details: Canon 5D MK3 w/14mm f/2.8 lens (ISO 1000, 8 sec.) and Nikon D800 w/24mm f/1.4 lens (ISO 400, 4 sec.)
