The effect of the expected stream of solar wind following on the heels of the CME was probably a bit earlier? Around midnight, while the sunset sky was still visible, a bright aurora arch appeared. Later on it developed into a larger arch forming a kind of gate with smaller activity areas inside. Meanwhile the temperature dropped to -13C. The season continues, so: Keep an eye on the sky!
