Details:
2 piece mosaic, Shot May 15th, 2017 with a DAYSTAR FILTERS Sodium D QUARK. Imaged under pristene seeing conditions @ the Shiloh Observatory in North Carolina, USA highlighting Sodium Granulation.
Telescope was an Explore Scientific 152mm f/6.5 @ 889mm Focal Length, yielding f/28 or 3,823mm Effective Focal Length with the QUARKs built in 4.3x telecentric barlow.
Camera was a ZWO ASI174mm with DAYSTAR FILTERS Interference Eliminator inline. Also captured 500 frame flat by defocusing.
3,000 16bit serial frames captured in Sharpcap and 10% stacked in Autostakkert! 2.6.8.
Wavelet sharpened in Registax 6.0.1.8
Cropped, Stretched and Colorized in The Gimp 2.8.18
