All in all a disappointing night - with Kp at 6 I headed into Yellowstone to one of my favorite spots in Hayden Valley, but by the time it was full dark the aurora had faded to a dull glow in the NE. Still I think it makes a pretty picture, with the Yellowstone River in the distance and the Andromeda Galaxy to the right.
