Was out shooting the Ouimet Canyon and looked up to see this object passing by. It was pretty bright and moved across the sky in a straight line about as fast as a typical satellite. The longer I looked at it the more freaked out I got as I kept thinking of what it could be with on answer coming to mind. I shot 3 images of it and stacked them into one. Shot at 2000 iso at 70mm on nikon d610. Taken on August 1st at 10:53pm. Anyone know what this was?

It looks like a rocket with its fuel / exhaust around it, but as far as I know the only launch that day was in French Guyana, very far from you. Still there is a small chance that the rockets path went North and maybe you have seen it after a stage separation.
I have no better idea :(
