After one night tried to chase an elusive Lady Aurora who liked to play the pick a boo game being on and off, despite the big “noise” that will be a great night with a huge tremendous display, on the early hours of Aug 5th, 2017 as I was ready to pack my stuff, I was treated with a special gift from the mother nature just as the Lady Aurora was fading away, the Noctilucent Clouds. What a surprise!!!! I’ve seen them once in a beautiful display but did not take any photos of them at the time. The structure of the NC is fantastic with lots of details! I am very excited that I had the opportunity for an hour to watch them, record them on real time 4K video and photos!!! I couldn’t wish for more after such a gifted night!!!

Fantastic shots Catalin! Obviously you were at an advantage, being a few degrees of latitude farther north than Edmonton, and hence had a much nicer display compared with our puny one! Mark Zalcik, NLC CAN AM network.
