Was waiting today for the sun to go down and see if the enhanced geomagnetic activity was going to deliver results. It certainly did and even before the sky was fully dark we saw auroras. As the night progressed we hiked out to a small mountain lake and got perfect reflections with some really wild auroras. What was different was most of the night we had to point the cameras south as that was where the best aurora displays where. Tomorrow I start the 2nd tour of the season for a new group of guests for Lights over Lapland so hoping for some similar activity!
