Details:
The aurora forecast in Abisko was good and despite a cloudy start the skies started to clear during the evening. Looking towards Mount Nuolja an aurora started to develop - dancing and twisting creating some beautiful shapes that resembled a volcanic eruption. The patterns on the icy shore of Lake Tornetrask helped frame the scene that developed in front of me - nature at its best!!
