After many days with lots of clouds and snow showers, the night sky cleared up and I witnessed the Gemini meteor shower while chasing the northern lights. It was very busy in the air! Many, many meteors (I counted around 100 of them!), mostly out of camera reach, but I could catch on camera a couple of very bright ones. Picture 1 shows the brightest meteor. It was just after changing to ISO 8000. Picture 2 shows next to a meteor also an aircraft and picture 3 has the best auroras and also a satellite. The wind caused a feeling temperature much lower than the gentle -6C indicated by the temperature meter.
