We have had the best christmas ever around Arctic circle. Nice and crispy weather usually means clear skies and we didnt have to be disappointed this time. After a second strong surge I told my Aurora guide whatsapp group, that if the Lights appear one more time as strong they did already twice, I have to go back to Aurora school. Well, all that I have to say, I better keep my word then...

Despite a foreground a little invasive, this composition is interesting because it provides a 3D effect.

I find this image perfect. So often there is just a sky shot. I love interesting foreground with spectacular sky in background. Makes for a very pleasing image.
