I am sure that most of you thought that I could not possibly show a GIF more ugly than some of those that I have submitted before, wrong!

Comet C/2017 U4 PANSTARRS is magnitude 20.1 in these images. To be able to show this faint comet the 2 images in the GIF each 900 seconds long have been 2X Zoomed and cropped. You will notice a lot of noise in this GIF, not easy to get good images of a magnitude 20 comet with an 11 SCT in light polluted skies, plus there was no fancy software used to process these images. To view the GIF at best resolution and to see the image information at the bottom of the GIF you must click on the large image, not sure why but maybe because my images are small the system tries to enlarge them to fit the front page which makes them look really bad (well, worst than normal). I have included a separate normal image of the comet.

I hope everyone has a good New Year, cheers!
