New Years eve brings with it celebration and fireworks. Tonight was no exception when nature provided its own set of NYE fireworks. Standing on a frozen lake, 200km above the arctic circle the aurora danced overhead. A beautiful bright green display under a crisp, clear sky and a big moon illuminating the snowy mountain peaks in the distance. As midnight came in Sweden the lights continued and welcomed in a new year. What a cracking way to spend a New Years Eve and a great start to 2018. Happy New year!
