The halo ring around the Sun was caused by the light-bending action of ice crystals in high cirrus clouds. This is the first halo I hope to catch during 2018. the ice halo sign of an incoming storm and it seems to be right with this one as we await our first summer storm of this year.
wish you all a very happy, joyful, peaceful and Healthy New Year 2018..!
