I just managed to capture these images late yesterday afternoon before a severe thunderstorm hit southeast Queensland. We are in the middle of a heat wave at the moment and the temperature was 37 degrees Celsius out here in the Sun…Phew, it sure was HOT!!!

Images were taken with a 60mm Lunt solar telescope and a Canon 700D with a 2x Barlow lens attached for the full disc image. The close up image was taken with the same solar telescope and a ZWO 120 MCS camera with a 2x Barlow lens attached.
