Details:
Sunday night, Feb 18, began with a fine display of Lights in progress as the sky darkened. These are some single-frame images (not panoramas) of the auroral curtains in the blue twilight and later with some pink fringes as well from nitrogen. These are all frames from a 700-frame time-lapse, taken from the Churchill Northern Studies Centre in Churchill, Manitoba, at latitude 58° N and under the auroral oval. The lens was the Sigma 14mm Art lens at f/1.8 on a Nikon D750 at ISO 3200. Exposures were 2 seconds.
