The crescent moon and -3.92 magnitude planet Venus gleamed in a clear evening sky at 8:45 pm CDT in Marion, Iowa on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Within 12 hours came a winter system that dropped rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow on this location. Image is a 1 second exposure at f/5, 400 ISO and 70mm focal length. Nikon D7200 DSLR.
