Here are the high quality photos from the amazing night of solar activity early Friday morning! as mentioned in the previous upload this was by far the most amazing display of aurora Ive ever seen in my 20 years of flying aircraft. And I have never seen the electric blue aurora in my 10 years of photographing Aurora. These were taken while flying on a red eye flight from Edmonton to Toronto at 39,000 feet over northern Manitoba. I wanted to upload the photos again since the previous upload was only a cell photo taken from the LCD screen of the back of the camera. These are much better quality. Enjoy!

Nice set of images Matt, what a privilege it must be to get a cockpit view of the aurora or northern lights. Blue/purple auroras are common in the northern hemisphere at this time of year, when the displays are bathed in direct sunlight, in fact pretty soon there wont be any reds visible from middle latitudes in the north, being replaced by blues and purples.
