This was taken 1:21 pm. The clouds were filled with various colors. I took it with my Canon Rebel S2 dslr with 18-300mm telephoto lens.

Nice image of what does look like a rainbow cloud. I especially like the big bird flying into your rainbow cloud, not sure what kind of bird it is. Thanks for sharing,

Looks like a pigeon. And the rainbow cloud is actually a halo cloud consisting of ice crystals. The rainbow isnt a rainbow but an ice crystal optical effect named circumhorizontal arc. it is the high sun opponent of the circumzenithal arc you sometimes can see ahead, when sun elevation is quite low.
