Details:
Early this morning I was capturing a time lapse of the Milky Way along with the Perseid Meteors. I was surprised that early in morning an Aurora showed up along with an pinkish arc of STEVE in the west. The Aurora was faint, but the camera picked it up. STEVE appeared just before the green Auroral glow near the horizon became manifest. In the time-lapse video STEVE twisted a bit like a flame or tornado.

Images are single frame captures from the AVI time lapse video and processed in Photoshop CS. I used a Sony A6000 DSLR equipped with a Rokinon 8mm Fisheye Lens. Each frame was 30 seconds long @f/2.8. View was to the northeast.
