Details:
On the night of August 26-27th 2018 a rather bright display of noctilucent clouds surprised me at 69 degrees of latitude in Senja, Norway. Its still impressive to see some ice in the mesosphere at this time of year! Te display lasted for at least 3 hours. Then the leftovers from yesterdays G3 storm sparked a nice aurora ribbon right above it.
