Details:
The sun was in the southern sky. It was about 27degrees F. at ground level, so much colder higher up. There were Crepuscular Rays too. Took this with my I phone, wish I had got the whole thing.

Crepuscular rays were present.I dont think I have the correct definition of this event.

Not crepuscular rays indeed. I see some ray structure in the cloud veil itself, and contrail shadows are projected on the cloud layer, so the contrails are in still higher levels. The small green spot is an internal camera lens flare.

As I was driving into the parking lot you could see the rays. The problem was it was very bright to look at. I didnt realize it was a halo til I looked at the photo. pphv thank you for the explanation of what is in the photo.
