Details:
Conjunction of Venus and Jupiter.
I was rewarded for being up at 05.30 this morning by going down to the coast and capturing the planets close together. Venus is the bright object to the right of the tower, Jupiter just below it, and the orange star Antares to the right of Jupiter. A veil of high cirrus cloud adds an ethereal feel to the sky. The foreground is a 14th century Arab tower(renovated) near Mojacar, Almeria, Spain.
