Details:
Anticipating a good aurora show, I went out for a hunt. The auroras were not in a hurry. Weak bands of aurora were gently shimmering for half-an-hour. After midnight, the show really started. I was really lucky to capture a huge meteorite fall at the start of the aurora show, both on photo and video. Oddly enough, it went in the same direction as the aurora bands! A few minutes after that, the whole sky went green. A really good aurora display, one that we do not get that often any more during the solar minimum, even above the Arctic Circle.
