Presenting the great sunspot in AR2738 today in white light (photosphere) in High Resolution. Great spots like these are awe inspiring, especially in a solar minimum. 200mm F20.

Hello Martin, What was your full setup? EX: camera / telescope / barlow / Filter
Posted by Philip Smith 2019-04-13 08:01:15
Thank you all,

@Philip:

C8 Edge HD SCT Telescope with a full aperture D-ERF (solar film would have worked fine too), 2x barlow (F20) and I used a 610nm long pass filter to calm the seeing and image with a longer wavelength on large pixels with an ASI174MM (IMX174 sensor).

Hi Martin, is this a single image or a mosaic?

@Michael

Its a single full stacked image, not a mosaic.
