Unfortunately, the caption on the SW home page is incorrect in a couple of ways. First, I was actually located in the Flathead National Forest, looking across the river and into Glacier National Park. Second, instead of long exposures (which would result in star trails), this panoramic image is a stitch of 25 exposures that were kept short to keep the stars as points.
