AR,1944 has to be the most awesome some spot ever. Is so amazing that I cant stop photographing it. I had been fallowing the progress of this remarkable Sun spot since day one when I first notice it. The last picture is an image of day one of AR,1944.

Thank you I use a refractor telescope fitted with a calcium k model blocking filter
In terms of capturing the image a monochrome CCD camera is the way to go
