>> Halo Reflection <<< After capturing a lunar halo earlier in the evening I tried to make up my mind if I should travel to Lough Mourne on the farside of Barnesmore gap to see If I could capture the halo reflecting on the lake. Living in Ballintra and a good distant away from lough Mourne it was hard to know if the halo was even visible there and if the water was still enough for it to reflect..... Decisions - decisions, this was a hard one to call but I took a gamble and it paid off. The conditions were perfect and the Halo was in the perfect position right above the gap. I got quite a few shots taken just before the cloud thicken. Its not often things fall so perfectly into place but on this occasion they did and for once I was there with camera at the ready.
