Details:
I took some first close-up images of Starlink-2 satellites passing overhead in fair conditions. Used is a 10 inch telescope and ALccd 5L-11 mono CMOS camera in secondary focus. Tracking was done fully manually as always. I was suprised with these first try-outs because it seems I got the right exposure settings without any further experimenting. I'm also very surprised with the resolution. We can make out the satellite bus - which is actually a flat design - and the solar panel. The best frames seem to show even some minor detail in the bus. The images are taken when the Starlinks were almost exactly overhead - if it makes sense in analyses for some indication of orientation.
