Details:
This is a revision of upload ID 182788, enhancing the brightness of the prominence region.

Taken with Altair Hypercam 174M, Baader VIP Barlow, Lunt LS 152THa w/ double stacking. Processed with Autostakkert3/ImPPG, and ImageMagick finishing.

The clip covers a total of almost 25 minutes, the time (hh:mm) shown on the top right gives MEZ = CET = UTC+1. Each single image of the animation was obtained from a 15 second recording. The recording was taken at the local astronomy club (vsda.de, Volkssternwarte Darmstadt). I estimate the vortex's/loop's outer diameter as roughly twice Earth's diameter.
