Details:
I saw a bit of a jump (around 19:38) in the solar wind speed on the DSCOVR charts and decided to race out and see if I could catch something. I find that the best time is is just after a jump, and you have about 15mins before it reaches earth. Sure enough there was a nice display around 8pm, it only lasted a few minutes, but some nice beams visible.
