Details:
I was out the door like a shot when the nT went crazy at 2030 MDT. I drove South to the only semblance of clear skies that I could see. I arrived at Station Flats at 2200 MDT, and patiently waited as a kP 7 alert had just been issued. At 2230 the skies went crimson and purple with gorgeous purple rays. And then it was over, as always after a strong impact I watch the NW and SE skies to see if STEVE would show up, he did not disappoint this was the brightest STEVE that I have seen. So bright that he overcame the 22 degree halo around the moon!
