Details:
A new sunspot on the solar limb, and it's a big one!! At sunset today, with the sun only about 22 degrees above the horizon, I was able to photograph the appearance of a new sunspot on the northeast limb of the sun. This new sunspot joins the three dark cores of the active regions AR2993 and AR2994. To take this photo I used a Maksutov 180 telescope with a Baader film filter, a 2X barlow and a ZWO 174mm camera with a Baader solar continuum filter.
