Details:
Last night's eclipse chase was a success! Between dense fog to the south over the Cape Cod and thunderstorms to the north around Boston, I managed to find a clear enough sky at Duxbury Beach. The close up shots were with a Tamron 150-600mm lens @600mm and the wide nightscape capture was with a Tamron 15-30mm f/2.8 lens. Canon EOS 6D & 6D Mark II. This was the darkest total lunar eclipse in recent memory. About as dark as the 1993 total. The view through 7x50 binoculars of the deep rust orange Moon set among a starry backdrop was beautiful.
