Details:
Tau Herculid meteor from light-polluted western suburbs of Chicago. The one in this photo was a bright one that lasted for about 2 seconds. It had a yellow tinge to it (esp when compared to nearby Vega). Final tally for me was 5 naked-eye meteors in about 2 hours, which honestly is 5 more than I thought I would see given the light situation, plus one more faint one that showed up in an image that my eyes didn't register. Aside from the light pollution, there were also some periodic thin cirrus clouds, so given all that, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
