Details:
This is not a very spectacular image but it is relatively unique. Captured here in a single photograph are all the major planets of our Solar System, spanning about 90° across the eastern dawn Brisbane sky, today. Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and Mercury can be seen with the unaided eye however the more distant Uranus and Neptune need binoculars to be seen - as long as you know where to find them against the background stars! Photographed using a Canon EOS 70D with a 10-18mm wide-angle lens set at 10mm, f/5.6, 30 second exposure, ISO 3200.
