Comet C/2017 K2 (PANSTARRS) photographed last night in Alhama de Granada/Andalusia. Beautiful contrast of the emerald green coma to the reddish beta star of the constellation Ophiuchi (Serpent Bearer) Cebalrai (Shepherd's Dog). This star has a peculiar spectrum of jitter frequencies of 0.26, 13.1 and 142 days. The comet itself can be observed in the east - southeast all night. Technique: 24 * 180 sec with ASI 2600mc (UHC-E filter) from RASA8 (200/400)
