Wow, talk about surprises! Here I am out shooting C/2017 K2 Panstarrs and waiting for the Moon and Venus conjunction, when I decided to get some shots of what I thought we diffuse Noctilucent Clouds. As I set up my camera's I was amazed at seeing the aurora in the playback. The aurora lasted all of 5 minutes and what a 5 min show it was as the aurora became naked eye and beautiful pillars. Just goes to show that if you get out there you get rewarded.
