Details:
Of all the times I have captured auroras at this location in Michigan, never have I been able to watch pillars dancing and shooting as high as I could see…with my naked eye! Being that the Little Sable Lighthouse in Mears, MI is below the 45th parallel, it’s not often that auroras can be seen without the help of a long exposure image, so last night was a first! Such an incredible night and surprise!
