Details:
Earlier in the evening I mistook it for light pollution as I was in a dome trying to sort out a software problem for Cody Astro Society in Farnborough, UK. But when I went home and looked up there were salmon coloured lights in Ursa Major. It was brighter than some of the stars in The Plough. So despite it being midnight we woke up the kids and stood outside in the road gawping until well past 1am by which time it had become light green. I'm not sure what the neighbours made of it all. Captured on 200ASA Konica film with a 50mm f/1.8 lens and fixed tripod. Most the pictures were saturated and unusable!
