SUMMER AURORA OVER DENMARK!! This midnight, for the first time since 2017 - and as bright as the naked eye could see since 2015 - Northern Lights were dancing above Limfjord. While almost the entire country was covered by clouds, we had a clear window on the West side of Northern/Central Denmark. What a great experience seeing dancing lights on a warm summer night. The Solar Maximum is in progress! I was already in my bed, getting ready to sleep, when I saw a couple of stars from my window. All forecasts promised cloudy night, so I wasn't expecting much. When I checked magnetometers, I rushed to the beach in hope to see the Aurora, as it was 5 years ago we saw Summer Northern Lights in Denmark because Magnetic Pole gives North America all the action during Summer, despite the bright sky. Mother Nature made a great delivery once again!
