Details:
The PERseids Meteor shower is already active and with a few hours of dark sky still available in the early morning hours before Sunrise, I was fortunate to image this very bright Perseid in the area of Cepheus. Image taken 2022/08/08 08:52 UT with Sony A7s3, 12mm f3.1 lens, iso 25800, 6sec exp. on tripod. The first image is a cropped closeup, 2nd image is full fov and 3rd image is the dust/debris field that was visible for about 20s after the explosion. Last is the SkyXPro chart of the full fov and sky above. Catch the Perseids before the Full Moon for best chances to see them in the early morning hours.
