Details:
Today in the morning, I was able to photograph in detail this magnificent and snaking filament. This structure of hot plasma is really huge, it extends for about 390,000 km above the surface of the sun. To understand this size more visually, the dark core of sunspot AR3092, seen in the upper left, is about the size of planet Earth. To take this picture, I used a Sky Watcher Evostar 150ED telescope, a Quark Chromosphere H-alpha filter, and a Player One Apollo M-Max camera.
