Details:
The sun is sinking lower from my backyard observatory, but solar activity remains high. Speaking of high... how about 100,000 miles? That's the height of this giant behemoth that has been looming above the limb of the sun the past few days. Really glad the clouds parted for a look at it today - it's a beauty.
